Viral Swab Test

The PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test is highly accurate in detecting coronavirus infection. It is same as the test kits being used in hospitals. The test works by multiplying and detecting the genetic material within the virus. All you need is a sample from your throat and nose that will be used to determine whether you are COVID-19 symptomatic or asymptomatic and negative.

Results are reviewed by top medical laboratories in the UK and are released quickly. Having the results immediately will allow you to follow safety guidelines, like home quarantine, if you test positive.

The test will confirm if you:

Have an active infection and need to self-isolate.

Do not have infection and are at-risk of catching the virus.

One of these two results can guide you on what steps you need to take next.
